Inscription  Sacred to the memory of James Wyness, Esq.,Second Officer of H.M.`s Steamer Kwangtung who was drowned at Port Blair on the 20th January 1868 aged 38 years. This stone is erected by his brother officers and friends as a mark of the respect and esteem in which he was held by all who knew him.
