This tomb is erected by William Ireland Jones Esq., Major and Assistant Commissary General. In testimony of the many virtues she possessed and which so amply contributed to his happiness. For the period of their union, Eleven Years, When (as decreed by the Almighty) She was called from an Earthly, to a Heavenly State, There to recieve the reward, of that genuine Piety, Unfeigned Humility, and universal Benevolence which distinguished her whilst on Earth! Her nature was full of the milk of human Kindness, without a tincture of gall in her disposition; All who knew her, loved her, and those who knew her most, loved her best. Eheu!!
