Inscription  Erected by his sorrowing family In loving memory of Charles Joseph Barber indigo planter and zemindar, son of the late James Barber, senior superintending surgeon, late H.E.I. C.S, aged 52 years, 5 months and 26 days, who died at Azamgarh on 26th May 1902. R.I.P. Weep not for me my wife and children dear I am not dead but sleeping here. It is enough all earth's troubles have ceased, and Jesus hath called me to my perfect peace. The end must come, the end has come. Jesus, Mary, Joseph. R.I.P. P. Tomson & Co, Lahore
