Inscription  Sacred to the memory of No. 5231 Pte. A. Adams, ""F"" Coy. 2/- .E. Lanc. Regt., who died at Solan 20th October 1900. Soldier I`m billeted here, by death, Quartered to remain, But when the last trumpet sounds, I`ll rise, and march again. This stone was erected by the NCOs &Men of his Coy. as a token of regard.
